In 1983 while attending art school, I developed environmental sensitivities, especially to chemical smells and perfumes. I also became fatigued and spacey when around these substances.
I began a 6-year, in-house apprenticeship with Jimmy Scott, Ph.D., the developer of Health Kinesiology. During that time I completely reversed my chemical and environmental sensitivities. After graduating from art school, I continue studying the field of field of natural healing, taking classes in nutrition, anatomy and physiology and eventually studying massage at Holistic Health institute, Body Arts Institute, Alive and Well and completing a degree in Traditional Naturopathy from Clayton College of Natural Health.
In 1989 I opened Center for Natural Health where I have worked with all groups of people, from children to adults, tailoring my approach to each individual.
I have continued to develop as an artist and have recently become a Planning Commissioner in the city in which I live
ln my own healing process I was able to learn to help others.
